Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- · ¾ cup sugar
- · ½ tsp. salt
- · 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- · ½ tsp. ground ginger
- · ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- · 2 large eggs
- · 1 can (15 oz.) 100% pure pumpkin
- · 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- · 1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust
Mix all ingredients together until well
blended.
Pour into pie crust
Bake at 425 deg. F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat
to 350 deg. F and bake from 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center
comes out clean.
Cool completely and enjoy!
*I add a dash of
nutmeg to the pie when mixing it. I also sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon
and nutmeg on top of the pie before I bake it.
I enjoy baking for people I love and this is a simple pie that doesn't take very long but it's still special because it is homemade.
